Workshop Entropies and soficity

The workshop Entropies and Soficity is part of a thematic semester "Graphs, groups and Dynamics" held by the Milyon Labex in Lyon between September 2017 and February 2018. The main theme of this conference is entropy theory, its many facets, and their connections to multiple branches of mathematics, with an emphasis on new and emerging directions. Our idea is to gather mathematicians working on various aspects of entropy (thus the "Entropies") in dynamical systems (classical, less classical, sofic, measured and topological entropies). This workshop will follow directly an advanced school Jan. 8-12, 2018 (with lectures on sofic entropy, topological sofic entropy, Rokhlin entropy and on entropy of algebraic actions).
